Centrepoint Apartments

In 2021, Sancon Construction Corp completed a remediation scope of works at the Centrepoint Apartments in Cairns QLD. We were engaged to undertake critical remediation works to ensure the structure remained watertight. Access being an issue, we engaged Skyreach Australia for the supply and mobilization of their project engineered mast climbers. This unique type of access system ensured our contract works could be fulfilled safely and efficiently.

SANCON provided Project Management, Contract Administration, WH&S, Quality Assurance and Contractor Management Services on behalf Centrepoint Body Corporate and Body Corp 101. 

The remediation works consisted of a new installation of roof top [torch on applied] waterproof membrane system. Pressure wash and application of Dulux Specified External Paint System to the exposed façade. This also included an extensive remedial construction joint sealant work to all external panel joints.
